Title

AN ORDINANCE CONCERNING C-S-C ZONE - TABLE OF USES for the purpose of permitting by right 'Gas Station', 'Food or beverage store’ in combination with a gas station, 'Apartment housing for the elderly or physically handicapped', 'Dwelling, multifamily', and 'Townhouse' uses in the C-S-C (Commercial Shopping Center) Zone of Prince George’s County, under certain circumstances.

 

Background

Gas stations, food or beverage stores in combination with a gas station, and apartment housing for the elderly or physcially handicapped are uses permitted by special exception in the C-S-C Zone.  This bill amends the Zoning Ordinance to allow these uses without the requirement for special exception approval under certain specified circumstances.  Certain residential uses, multifamily dwelling and townhouse, are permitted in the C-S-C Zone provided certain criteria are met. This bill provides additional criteria allowing these uses in the C-S-C Zone.
