A RESOLUTION CONCERNING THE PUBLIC FACILITIES ELEMENT OF THE PRELIMINARY GREATER CHEVERLY SECTOR PLAN for the purpose of identifying inconsistencies between the Preliminary Greater Cheverly Sector Plan and existing or proposed State or County facilities, and approving the inclusion of any new transportation proposals prior to the adoption of the sector plan by the Prince George’s County Planning Board of the Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning Commission.

 

Background

Section 27-645(b) of the Zoning Ordinance prescribes the process by which the District Council comments and approves the public facilities portion of proposed preliminary plans prior to final action by the Planning Board.  This Resolution approves the proposed public facilities element of the Preliminary Greater Cheverly Sector Plan.
