Title

A RESOLUTION CONCERNING HOUSING AND COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT CONSOLIDATED PLAN: FISCAL YEAR (“FY”) 2021-2025 AND ANNUAL ACTION PLAN: FY 2022 for the purpose of amending the Prince George’s County Fiscal Year (“FY”) 2021-2025 Consolidated Plan for Housing and Community Development and the Prince George’s County FY 2022 Annual Action Plan for Housing and Community Development by including the FY 2021-2025 Section 3 Action Plan.

Background

This Resolution will amend the Prince George’s County Fiscal Year (“FY”) 2021-2025 Consolidated Plan for Housing and Community Development and the FY 2022 Annual Action Plan for Housing and Community Development by including the FY 2021-2025 Section 3 Action Plan.

Pursuant to Section 15A-103 - Five-Year Consolidated Housing and Community Development Plan, Annual Action Plan and Section 3 Action of the Prince George’s County Code, the County Executive shall prepare on behalf of Prince George’s County and submit to the County Council for approval: (1) a Five-Year Consolidated Housing and Community Development Plan; (2) an Annual Action Plan and Statement of Community Development Objectives and Projected Use of Funds; and (3) a Section 3 Action Plan, to implement Section 3 of the Housing and Urban Development Act of 1968 as amended, (“Section 3”.)

This Resolution requires at least one (1) public hearing on the draft FY 2021-2025 Consolidated Plan and FY 2022 Annual Action Plan.
