Title AN ORDINANCE concerning Tattoo Parlors for the purpose of defining tattoo parlor and permitting this use in certain commercial and industrial zones. Background A Tattoo Parlor is not currently defined or listed as a use in the Zoning Ordinance; however, the use exists in some locations in the County. The use has been classified under other categories such as art studio (services) and specialty store. This legislation clarifies the Zoning Ordinance by defining tattoo parlor, listing tattoo parlor in the use table, and permitting the use in certain commercial and industrial zones. Clarifying the use in the Zoning Ordinance will assist small businesses with locating in the County. 4/3/2012: CB-10-2012 (DR-2) was amended on the floor to provide for an effective date on date of adoption. CB-2-2012 (DR-3) was introduced.
