Title

AN ACT CONCERNING FORECLOSED PROPERTY REGISTRY ENFORCEMENT for the purpose of establishing civil penalties for the failure to register foreclosed properties; enforcing compliance by existing foreclosure purchasers, and generally relating to the enforcement of foreclosed property registration.

 

Background

This bill is authorized by State law.  The State law permits the County to establish a civil penalty for failure to register with the State's Foreclosed Property Registry.  The civil penalty authorized is an amount not exceeding $1,000.
