Title

A RESOLUTION CONCERNING THE LOCAL IMPACT GRANT FUNDS MULTIYEAR PLAN for the purpose of transmitting the Local Impact Grant Funds Multiyear Plan to the County Council for review and approval.

Background

Pursuant to CB-88-2015, this resolution will approve the Local Impact Fund Multiyear Plan for FY 2025 - FY 2027.  The spending plan details the planned use of video lottery terminal taxes from FY 2025- FY 2027.  This additional FY 2025 spending plan totals $1,800,000.  The spending plan allocates resources to a nonprofit that works with the Prince George’s County Public School System (PGCPS) and the Prince George’s Community College. In FY 2025, the plan includes required funding dedicated to PGCPS’s Crossland High School Career Academy and the Community College’s Financial Empowerment Center and training programs.  The proposed multi-year spending plan is subject to change based upon the County’s annual budget process.
