Title

Background

This bill proposes an amendment to Section 313 of the Charter of Prince George's County to provide for the appointment of the County Auditor. Selected agencies that receive or disburse County funds will receive a complete financial audit for the preceding fiscal year. The County Auditor will be empowered to conduct investigations related to fraud, waste and abuse by the County Executive, Council Members or other County officials and employees.
