Title

A RESOLUTION CONCERNING COUNTY REAL PROPERTY for the purpose of declaring certain parcels of County-owned real property as surplus, and approving the County Executive’s plan for disposal of such parcels.

Background

This legislation will declare certain parcels of property contained in the County’s Inventory of Real Property and Improvements as surplus, and approve the County Executive’s plan for disposition of such parcels.  The legislation provides for disposition of seventy-nine (79) parcels by sale for not less than fair market value.

 

Included in the seventy-nine (79) parcels, one (1) parcel to Montpelier Hills Recreation Association, Inc., by sale for not less than fair market value; two (2) parcels by no cost transfer to the City of Laurel; two (2) parcels by no cost transfer to the Town of Forest Heights; one (1) parcel to the Prince George’s County Historical Society; one (1) parcel to Oxon Hill Associates, L.C. for resale; one (1) parcel to TSC Flowers LTS Liability Co.; one (1) parcel to Chin-Chuan HSU & Siu-Chi HSU for resale; and, one (1) vacation of a right-of-way to Gary J. Rubino & Karen R. Thomas.
