Title

A RESOLUTION CONCERNING COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS - PRINCE GEORGE’S CORRECTIONAL OFFICERS’ ASSOCIATION, INC. (PGCOA) (CIVILIAN UNIT) SALARY SCHEDULE Q for the purpose of amending the Salary Plan of the County to reflect the terms of the labor agreement by and between Prince George’s County, Maryland and the Prince George’s Correctional Officers’ Association, Inc. (PGCOA) (Civilian Unit).

 

Background

This is companion legislation to the bill to approve the collective bargaining agreement between Prince George's County, Maryland and the Prince George’s Correctional Officers’ Association, Inc., (Civilian Unit) for Fiscal Years 2019 and 2020. This resolution reflects modifications of the agreement.   A fiscal impact statement will be provided by the Office of Management and Budget.

 

The proposed salary plan amendments were submitted to the County Council by the County Executive on September 4, 2018.  Pursuant to Section 903 of the Charter, if the Council fails to take final action on the proposed salary plan before November 3, 2018, the salary plan shall stand approved.

 

NOTE:  Retroactively effective to July 1, 2018.
