Title

A RESOLUTION CONCERNING COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS COUNCIL 67, AMERICAN FEDERATION OF STATE, COUNTY AND MUNICIPAL EMPLOYEES (“AFSCME”), AFL-CIO, AND ITS AFFILIATED LOCALS 2462, 2735, 3389 AND 1170 SALARY SCHEDULE A for the purpose of amending the Salary Plan of the County to correct the effective dates of the Fiscal Year 2023 and Fiscal Year 2024 Cost of Living Adjustments posted in the Scheduled Pay Rates as adopted previously by CR-52-2022.

Background

This legislation will correct the effective dates of the Cost of Living Adjustments for Fiscal Year 2023 and 2024 on Attachment A - Schedule of Pay Grades. It was originally determined the effective date of the first full pay period in January 2023 was January 14th and January 27th in 2024, however, further review revealed that the dates should have been effective January 1, 2023 and January 14, 2024 respectively.  The Salary Schedule was previously adopted pursuant to Council Resolution 52-2022 and needs to be amended at this time.
