Title

A RESOLUTION CONCERNING STATE OF MARYLAND SUSTAINABLE COMMUNITY DESIGNATION for the purpose of approving the designation of a portion of Prince George’s County as a Sustainable Community by the Maryland Department of Housing and Community Development (“DHCD”).

Background

This change is necessary so that the Redevelopment Authority of Prince George’s County can submit an application to the Maryland DHCD to expand the boundaries. RDA is applying for NED funds in this current round and the area needs to be in the sustainable community to qualify.
