A RESOLUTION CONCERNING FISCAL YEAR 2018 ANNUAL ACTION PLAN FOR HOUSING AND COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT for the purpose of amending the Prince George’s County Fiscal Year (“FY”) 2018 Annual Action Plan for Housing and Community Development and approving the reprogramming and reallocation of one million, nine hundred seventeen thousand, fifteen dollars and eighteen cents ($1,917,015.18) in Community Development Block Grant (“CDBG”) funds from the County FY 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, and FY 2018 Annual Action Plans to an existing eligible activity, the Housing Rehabilitation Assistance Program (the “Program”), to be administered by the Redevelopment Authority of Prince George’s County (“Administrator”).
Background
This Resolution will amend the Fiscal Year (“FY”) 2018 Annual Action Plan for Housing and Community Development by modifying the Housing Rehabilitation Assistance Program (the “Program”), to be administered by the Redevelopment Authority of Prince George’s County and Housing Initiative Partnership, Inc., an eligible activity necessitating a change in the location, description, regulatory reference, national objective citation, or status of an activity originally described in the Annual Action Plan.
Additionally, this Resolution will amend the FY 2018 Annual Action Plan by reprogramming and reallocating one million, nine hundred seventy six thousand, six hundred sixty-five dollars and sixty-six cents ($1,976,665.66) in Community Development Block Grant Funds (“CDBG”) funds from the FY 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, and FY 2015 Annual Action Plans to support the Program.
This Resolution requires at least one (1) public hearing because the proposed amendment to the FY 2018 Annual Action Plan constitutes a “substantial change” under the FY 2016-2020 County Citizen Participation Plan, as described in the County’s FY 2016-2020 Consolidated Plan.
