Title: AN ACT CONCERNING THE UNDERSERVED YOUTH EMPLOYMENT ACT OF 2024 for the purpose of requiring that at least fifty percent (50%) of the positions of any youth employment program funded by the Prince George’s County Government shall be reserved for youth and young adults from households making thirty percent (30%) or less of the Washington DC Area Median Income, subject to certain conditions.

Background

This legislation sets a baseline target to address employment issues that chronically plague low income youth.
