A RESOLUTION CONCERNING FISCAL YEAR 2018 ANNUAL ACTION PLAN FOR HOUSING AND COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT for the purpose of amending the Prince George’s County Fiscal Year (“FY”) 2018 Annual Action Plan for Housing and Community Development and approving the reallocation of one million, five hundred seventy three thousand, nine hundred eighty-two dollars and twenty cents ($1,573,982.20) in Community Development Block Grant (“CDBG”) program funds from the County’s Single-Family Rehabilitation Revolving Loan Program to an existing eligible activity, the Housing Rehabilitation Assistance Program (the “Program”), to be administered by the Redevelopment Authority of Prince George’s County and Housing Initiative Partnership, Inc. (“Administrator”).
Background
This Resolution will amend the Fiscal Year (“FY”) 2018 Annual Action Plan for Housing and Community Development by modifying the Housing Rehabilitation Assistance Program (the “Program”), to be administered by the Redevelopment Authority of Prince George’s County and Housing Initiative Partnership, Inc., an eligible activity necessitating a change in the allocation priorities or a change in the method of distribution of funds.
Additionally, this Resolution will amend the FY 2018 Annual Action Plan by reallocating one million, five hundred seventy three thousand, nine hundred eighty-two dollars and twenty cents ($1,573,982.20) in CDBG Program funds from the Single-Family Rehabilitation Revolving Loan Program to support the Program.
This Resolution requires at least one (1) public hearing because the proposed amendment to the FY 2018 Annual Action Plan constitutes a “substantial change” under the FY 2016-2020 County Citizen Participation Plan, as described in the County’s FY 2016-2020 Consolidated Plan.
