Background This bill requires sellers of single family homes to provide utility bills and/or information relating to the 12 month period prior to signing a contract for sale. The Department of Environmental Resources is required to evaluate options to encourage homeowners to conduct home energy audits. The Department of Environmental Resources is required to report on utility cost disclosure and home energy audits.
