Title

A RESOLUTION CONCERNING ADEQUATE PUBLIC SAFETY FACILITIES SURCHARGE for the purpose of approving a partial waiver of the adequate public safety facilities surcharge for all residential units of the mixed-use College Park Southern Gateway Project (“Southern Gateway”).

Background

This Resolution fulfills a commitment by Prince George’s County to support the College Park Southern Gateway mixed-use project with EDI Funds, a PILOT, and a 50% public safety surcharge waiver.  This project will result in a $152 million 393-unit multi-family complex with approximately 60,000 SF of retail.
