Title

AN ACT CONCERNING FOOD SERVICE MANAGER CERTIFICATION ISSUANCE TIME PERIOD for the purpose of revising the food service manager certification time period.

Background

The Conference for Food Protection, the accreditation body for the County's Food Service Manager Certification, provides certification for 5 years.  However, Prince George's County requires certification every 3 years.  The County Code with this legislation can match the length of time the certification is valid.
