Background

In accordance with the provisions of the Regional District Act, Land Use Article, Annotated Code of Maryland, as well as the provisions of the local zoning laws, this Resolution will approve the Bowie-Mitchellville and Vicinity Sectional Map Amendment, setting forth the approved zoning proposals for the planning area comprised of Planning Areas 71A, 71B, 74A, and 74B, which includes the area within the municipal corporate boundaries of the City of Bowie and portions of the unincorporated communities of Mitchellville and Collington.
